Statutory Guarantee
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The Tap Shop Australia Pty Ltd offers a limited lifetime warranty on all products to both residential and commercial customers.
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship but excludes damage caused by misuse or unauthorised repairs. All products must be fitted by qualified and experienced tradespersons as per manufacturer’s instructions where available.
All products guaranteed as follows:
- Replacement labour costs excluded;
- Lifetime guarantee against casting defaults and porosity;
- 10 years guarantee against cartridge, aerator and valve defaults;
- 12 months guarantee on washers and O rings;
- 12 months guarantee on surface finish
Damages or Issues
Please inspect all products in your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from accidents or misuse
- Unauthorised alteration, repairs, modifications or substitution of any parts of the product
- Defects caused by improper installation
- Removal and replacement of the product
- Any loss resulting from defects in the product or its components
Returns
The Tap Shop Australia has a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for your return, your products must be in its original unmarked packaging and resalable condition. You will also need your original order number and proof of purchase. For change of mind returns, the customer will be liable for return costs.
