Shipping & Delivery – Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you ship to?

We currently ship Australia-wide only.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer free domestic shipping on all orders.

How long does it take to dispatch my order?

Orders will be dispatched next business day after payment is received. All our products are shipped from our Melbourne warehouse.

You will receive a tracking email once your order is on its way.

How long will delivery take?

Delivery times depend on your location:

  • Metro areas: 2-4 business days
  • Regional areas: 4-7 business days

Please allow extra time during public holidays or peak periods. 

Please note: Delivery timeframes are subject to change. We recommend scheduling your trades only after all items have been received and checked. This helps prevent issues caused by dispatch or shipping delays.

Will I receive tracking information?

Yes. As soon as your order is dispatched, we will send you an email with your tracking number and a link to follow its progress.

Who do you use for shipping?

We use trusted courier services including Australia Post, Sendle, and others, depending on your location and order size.

Can I change my delivery address after placing an order?

If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, we may be able to update your delivery address. Please contact us as soon as possible at help@thetapshop.com.au

What happens if I’m not home when my order arrives?

All orders are shipped with Authority to Leave (ATL). This means our delivery partners will leave the parcel in a safe location at your delivery address if no one is available to receive it. Alternatively, they may take it to your local post office or collection point. You’ll receive details via your tracking link.

We highly recommend having someone available to receive the delivery in person, especially for higher-value orders.

Please note: We do not accept responsibility for lost or stolen items once the parcel has been delivered with ATL.

Do you offer express shipping?

Express shipping may be available upon request. If you require urgent delivery, please contact us before placing your order to check availability and cost.

My order hasn’t arrived. What should I do?

Check your tracking link first for updates. If it’s been more than 7 business days since dispatch with no update, please get in touch with us at help@thetapshop.com.au and we’ll investigate right away.

 

 

Returns & Exchanges

 

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something’s not right, we’re here to help.

Please Note: Returns for change of mind will not be accepted if the product has been installed or used.

Change of Mind Returns

Accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused items in original packaging. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, contact us within 7 days. We’ll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at no cost to you.

How to Start a Return

To be eligible for your return, your products must be in its original unmarked packaging and resalable condition. You will also need your original order number and proof of purchase.
